Peter K. Connolly (ptrcon@fidnet.com) is a native of suburban New York City. He attended the University of Notre Dame, Marquette University and Stonehill College and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Journalism.

He retired in 1992 as Corporate Director of Public Affairs at General Dynamics Corporation in St. Louis.

Since then he has been a columnist for several St. Louis area newspapers, Communications consultant, and writer for the St. Louis Baseball Cardinals magazine and other publications. He also designs and maintains web sites for a number of commercial and institutional clients in Missouri and Illinois.

An ex-Marine, he resides in rural Missouri west of St. Louis and devotes an inordinate amount of his time to birdwatching, clearing duckweed from his pond, and cheating at golf.

"When Shadows Fell at Notre Dame" is his second novel. His first, "The Last Slider," was published in 2004.
